Some issues to pay attention to when installing vibration motors
After the installation of the vibration motor in place, there should be cable clamping devices on both the body and the foundation. The cables between the two should be naturally suspended, with a total length of 300-500mm. The bending radius of the natural suspension part should refer to that of the two vibration motors of the linear vibration equipment. When working simultaneously, the rotation direction of the two vibration motors should be checked to see if they are opposite. Otherwise, the power phase sequence of one motor should be changed so that the two vibration motors have opposite directions to ensure the uniform direction of the material.
Adjustment of excitation force of vibration motor:
The vibration motor has a fixed eccentric block and an adjustable eccentric block at each end of the output shaft. Adjusting the angle between the adjustable eccentric block and the fixed eccentric block can change the magnitude of the excitation force. When leaving the factory, the angle between the adjustable eccentric block and the fixed eccentric block is 0 degrees. At this time, the excitation force is the rated excitation force of the vibration motor. Increasing the angle will gradually reduce the excitation force. Special attention should be paid when adjusting the excitation force. The adjustable eccentric blocks on both ends of the vibration motor's output shaft should be adjusted in the same direction to the same angle
Steps for adjusting the excitation force of a vibration motor:
1. Remove the protective cover.
2. Loosen the outer eccentric block tightening bolt.
3. The eccentric blocks on both sides should rotate in the same direction, aligning the engraved line on the shaft with the excitation force indication line on the eccentric block to the desired excitation force value, and checking whether the two ends are at the same angle
Use, maintenance, and storage of vibration motors:
The bearings of vibration motors should be regularly lubricated with grease, usually every 2-3 months. Use an oil gun to inject or disassemble the oil nozzle at the vibration motor. The oil injection amount is one-third to two-thirds to one half of the bearing chamber volume.
Vibration motors generally undergo minor repairs every 4-6 months and major repairs every year. During minor repairs, clean the accumulated dust on the body, check the insulation resistance and wiring of the coil for firmness, and promptly remove hidden dangers. During major repairs, the motor should be turned on, dust accumulation inside and outside the body should be removed, bearing wear should be checked, and joints should be inspected Check if the grounding and fastening bolts are loose and tighten them in a timely manner, and replace them with new lubricating grease.
If any abnormal noise is found during the operation of the vibration motor, it should be stopped immediately for inspection and troubleshooting before restarting.
The vibration motor allows for an appropriate amount of axial clearance.
The shaft and bearings of the vibration motor are in dynamic fit.
The vibration motor adopts single row tapered roller bearings, and the axial clearance must be controlled between 0.30 and 0.35mm. If the clearance is too large, it should be adjusted in a timely manner, otherwise it is easy to burn out the motor during motor boring.
When the vibration motor is not in use, it must be stored in a ventilated and dry warehouse. Corrosive gases should not be used in the warehouse, and new vibration motors should be regularly inspected. Is there any moisture, freezing, rusting, or deterioration of lubricating grease.
